Scoutmaster: John M. Green, Jr. • Senior Patrol Leader:  Braxton Algood

Greetings from BSA Troop 137!

Troop 137's meeting site is located in historic Franklin, Tennessee. We invite you to share in the Scouting experience.  We hold regular Troop meetings at the Barn every Tuesday (except holidays) from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Barn is a great setting for boys of all ages.  Inside the Barn, we have patrol rooms, meeting areas, and history of the troop and other parts of the BSA.  Our weekly meeting is led by our Senior Patrol Leader with the help of the Patrol Leaders Council with a different program each week. We have on site rappelling, amateur (HAM) radio, gardening, woodcarving, archery, a knots & lashings room, a map room, a library, a coal forge, astronomy, honey bee-keeping and more.  We do many outdoor activities like backpacking/hiking, camping, canoeing, shooting sports, camporees, high adventure trips, etc.  Membership in our Troop is >100 Scouts and >60 adult members.

If you would like to bring your unit for a visit, please contact us.  We are looking forward to meeting you.

Our location is at 806 Murfreesboro Road in Franklin, TN.  Be aware this is a privately owned cattle farm.  (Map to Troop 137
